Change of Season

Here's how this spot looked in summer. What caught my eye originally was the sweep of the leaves.

Part one of our plans for my birthday were to go hiking, but my back vetoed that. We enjoyed the movie Downton Abbey in very comfortable old fashioned theatre seats and will have dinner out soon. Mr Mole has something else up his sleeve too. He’s incapable of lying or hiding anything from me, but I won’t press. I’ll let him enjoy surprising me.
