Tree stump man.

Although this is an old tree stump, washed up on a tidal river, it reminds me of a prehistoric figure, carefully preserved for more than a thousand years in a peat bog area. As well as a skeleton, there could almost be a leathery skin and clumps of hair, just like Lindow man from Cheshire, England. Or perhaps I just have a morbid imagination after Halloween.
My entry for Derelict Sunday, kindly hosted by Marlieske.
