Armistice Day in the pouring rain.

If it's 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, it must be time to...................
....meet in the bar for a coffee, as the Service of Remembrance doesn't start until 11.45 here! The two minutes silence actually started at 12.10, don't ask me why!
I always like the bit where someone reads all the names on the war memorial and then a random child suddenly remembers they have a job to do, runs up to the microphone and says "Mort pour France'.
Here you can see our mayor laying some flowers, and under the awning is Mr F, who warned us all in advance that he wouldn't be able to salute as he was carrying an umbrella, as it's not allowed apparently. Luckily, he didn't need the umbrella under the awning so was able to salute!
