On guard!

No sunshine today unfortunately ..... but no rain thankfully!

We decided to wrap up ...... it was jolly cold ....... & head out for a walk ..... sun or no sun!

We went to the little Country Park nearby & carried on along the riverbank. There were lots of birds about ..... we saw Blue Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Blackbird, Ducks, Moorhen and even a tiny Goldcrest! There were also a couple of squirrels. Unfortunately none of them fancied being blipped!

As we were walking back we spotted a Buzzard being chased by 2 Crows .... the Buzzard took refuge in one of the trees ..... however the crows didn't fly off .... instead they perch above the Buzzard & kept watch! As soon as the Buzzard took flight again the Crows chased it away!

I did manage to get a photo of them ..... apologies for the quality of the image but the light was poor & they were a fair distance away ...... hope you like it anyway!

Also blipped is some 'different' berries ...... don't remember seeing white ones before .... I'm sure somebody will know what they are :-)

Update: They are Snowberries ...... quite an appropriate name I think :-)
