The tragic truth about centre pull balls is that once they collapse on themselves, it's impossible to find the centre, but if you leave the centre hanging out, it gets tangled.

Henny penny's solution - a thin bit of cotton tied to the centre like a beautiful 'open here' ribbon.  

Will it work?  
I have no idea.  

But the yarn is finally ready to ship... when I get around to it.  Lazy bum that I am.
