Tree Stump

Love the colours of this - I am sure I have said this before but this photography focusses the mind - I find I am looking at everything - ordinarily I would have missed this tree stump and all the glorious colours of the fungi, simply because of the surrounding similar autumnal golden browns.  Amazing what you can see if you look closely at nature.  Even managed to get a photo of a squirrel close up - although when I spotted him first he was raiding the nuts left out for the birds and legged it quite sharply!
