Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Poor ewe

We spent the day walking along a fine stretch of Emperor Hadrian’s big, beautiful wall. Cold, a bit wet and very muddy but an absolute delight.
Towards the end of our walk we came across this unfortunate yew. She had a nasty wound on her flank which had been treated. This contraption around her neck presumably serves to prevent her from biting at the healing wound.
