Decades of public service

Our Area manager is retiring soon and today was his last Buchan Area Committee. We marked the occasion with lunch afterwards for staff and councillors in a nearby hotel. His special guests were two former councillors who had in their time of office chaired the committee. I'd worked with both before my retirement and it was good to catch up with them. Not forgetting our current chair Norman. I've entitled this blip decades of service. I suspect I'm underestimating the number of years these four have given to the communities they've served and the total is well over a century!
