Fluff on the Top

Every morning, I drive to work to some beautiful scenic views of the snow covered San Bernardino mountain range spanning like a postcard behind the Orange County freeways. Even though the snow is minimal compared to places like say Colorado, or even Northern California, there is something heart-warming about seeing snow on the peaks of these high mountains.

Only clear skies like today get such views, and usually down here, we have clear skies. Sometimes the peaks hide behind the dark rain clouds, or sometimes behind the soft white ones. Sometimes, its there in the morning and gone by the time I drive back home. It is literally and metaphorically, the fluff on the top.
