Southend statue

A lovely sunny day today so we had a few chores to run in Southend which meant we could have a little wander along the cliff top to see the Southend senotaph which was full of lovely poppy wreaths and tributes, along with the new statue that has been put up which was lovely to see. A very fitting tribute.

Also discovered a new secondhand bookshop down a side road we don't normally visit - the book goods must have made me wander down there to find it! I'll definitely be going back for a longer browse of the bookshelves!!
