Canopy Tower

This is where we’ve been for the past day and a half. Not nearly long enough - but enough to get a taste. It was built by the US military when the canal was US territory. After the canal was turned over to Panamá some clever person bought it from the US government and it is now a birding place. Part of the Canopy Family which includes the tower, Canopy Lodge, and Canopy Camp.

We had a great day of birding today and now are at a hotel near the airport. I and another woman are leaving the hotel at 3:30 AM to go catch a 6;18 plane to Miami! ACK!
