Fame!

Today a gentleman from the press came to take my picture. One of the local newspapers is running a story on my use of this Fluke Ti10 Thermal Imaging camera. As part of a local sustainability group I go round with the camera showing people where heat is escaping from their house and helping them to save money and reduce CO2 emissions.

The camera is basically a modified digital camera with the IR filter removed and an optical one installed instead. Hot shows up in red and cold in blue on the large screen at the read. You point it at stuff and it shows you how hot or cold it is.

For the curious this is a self portrait - I don't mind reflected/shadow images of myself, I'm less keen on real pictures of me!
