Carbon free

A retired engineer takes over his grandparents farm and spends $2m installing solar panels to power the local production of liquid hydrogen (to power a converted tractor) and liquid ammonia (for fertiliser).

Not what I’d want to do, but goes to show that industrial agriculture can become less dependent on fossil fuels. The price tag will come down as the technology gets more commoditised.
