Cabbage trees

A bit tired after giving a workshop this morning, but managed to drag myself out to walk the Mt Pleasant Bluffs track, one of my favourite spots along the Port Hills.  It is supposedly closed post earthquake, but fortunately a sufficient number of hardy souls, including rock climbers on the first part of the track, use it, keeping it  open.  I noticed that someone has even been doing a bit of track maintenance.  It would be nice if it were adopted again by DOC and the CCC.
