Blue eggs

Some shopping this morning, and I needed eggs for a soufflé. These blue ones caught my eye, and at £1.29 in Aldi they were good value.
Pepper enjoyed a walk in the woods, we now know it’s called Bird Park Wood not Pepper’s Wood! It was interesting to see the CWT are taking charge of works to improve water management above Kendal including the building of some ‘leaky dams’.
Back in the garden, I lifted my dahlias and they are looking plump and sound so I will try to keep them over winter. Never done that before!
