A fine start to the day

A walk across the suspension bridge on my way to church this morning. Looking to the right everything was in shadow as the sun began to rise. I'm always in town early so that I have time for my pot of tea and apricot pastry before the service.

Not many people around before nine o'clock but that will probably change next Sunday when many of the shops start opening before 10am.

Buchanan Street was very busy as I wended my way through the crowds back to the suspension Bridge, stopping briefly to take a photo of the reflections on the right hand side. The sun had reached its height for today and that whole side of the river was now bathed in light.
