It is the Christmas lights switch on tonight and.various organisations are represented. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue have brought a Search and Rescue dog. This wonderful organisation gets no government funding and is on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year - except leap years of course when it is 366 days!
