at the feeders

with the boo - lurking in the background - it’s a couple of house finches - and i’ll be the first to admit - it’s not a pristine shot - granted i had to take - it through a dirty window - so of course there’s some glare - but it’s one of the few times - they didn’t fly off - as i approached with my camera - so i wanted to take advantage - of the opportunity especially - to capture the male - who has this rare orange coloring - versus the typical red - you’d usually see with male - house finches in our area - and since this couple had babies - over the summer, junior - has joined them at - the feeder as well showing - off his orange colored body - like his papa

i am beside myself that - as colder weather has arrived - more birds have been showing up - to take sustenance at my bird feeders - and of course provide - entertainment for the boo - it all leads to such...
