Flint Castle at Sunset

After the rejection of the iron ring sculpture in 2017, I was amazed to see that Cadw and the Welsh Government have managed to make the same mistake in 2019 with the proposal for another large installation, a 9 metre tall forest of scaffolding poles.  One of the excuses for this is that the money is ring-fenced for artwork.  Perhaps a proposal by a Welsh artist who understands Flintshire would be more sensitive to local concerns.
