the magical front door

In our new home we have a very pretty front door -glass with an etched flower design. As I walked passed today I was surprised to see the shadows of the flower design "stenciled" on the wall via light! Biggify this to get a better look : )

I found the light so captivating I had to grab my camera and attempt a few shots. This was much more interesting than unpacking more boxes and bags. But I must say, I am grateful to feel more settled in, with the guest bedrooms ready for both of my sons to visit us next month - with Liz & Tina too!
