No Zoom

So, I've challenged myself to use the 50mm fixed lens on the Canon 40D, and see what I can do with it. First challenge is not having a wide angle or zoom for framing. I had to do a lot of traipsing across the field (shoes getting plastered with sticky clay in the process) to get the right spot, so that the image was framed correctly. 

I'm still just using the auto focus, though. I'm adding one challenge at a time! It's been a long time since I focused manually.
