Ugly bug

Now you would think that being in a beautiful setting I would blip landscapes and seascapes. Alas nothing in the way of scenery has really presented itself to me to photograph - or capture my interest at least.
Today (our last in Golden bay) was taken up with an abortive trip to Totarunui (due to risks of landslips) and a second choice trip into Takaka.
While waiting for mother!!!!!! sis and I spotted some lovely flowers and on them was a rather lovely butterfly. I headed back to the car for the macro and hey presto, macro bug shots. The little bug (ger) wouldn't open it's wings for a decent shot so it had to be a close up of its face.
