Shortcut

Took my usual shortcut through the cemetery to get to the Water of Leith walkway and then slip, slid along it on my way to Roseburn. No sun has hit parts of that path in quite a while!

Later and back home, I took it into my head to make hummus. Great, said S, do we have tahini? OK, so I had to make tahini too - I tend to think of recipes as guidelines but it seems that’s a key hummus ingredient which can’t be fudged. All surprisingly easy in the end though. Or rather, it’ll be easy next time now I know what I’m doing!
