Welcome to Divonne

The flags are flying atop the now redundant frontier/customs post on the border with Switzerland. There are very occasional checks here on the French side, but only when it's sunny and NEVER when it's raining. Strange, that!
You can see little Mont Mussy in the foreground and the start of the Jura mountains behind, with the snow line just visible at about 600 metres above sea level. We are at just over 350 metres high here in the town.
