Postcards from India

Birds at the brick factory

After a day of making lots of planters at Aura I took a walk to the village. The locals were pulling out the old electric pylons with a big tractor. The village, Manakpur Sharif, has a mosque and Sikh temple. One of them, I think the mosque, plays prayers in the morning and evening which I can hear from my room, I like hearing them.
The village is surrounded by farms and brick factories. Prince (local pottery helper) may be arranging for Fred and I to go take a look at how the brick factories operate.
