hiding in plain sight

Lovely frosty morning today so a few more plants have bitten the dust in the garden! I keep getting sent emails from gardening companies too trying to tempt me with their half price tulip and daffodil bulbs.... I've resisted temptation so far but that could easily change!

There weren't so many squirrels to see while we were out this morning - when they're all so well disguised as tree bark like this one then  no wonder we couldn't spot them! Doesn't look the comfiest of positions!!
