Cardiff Devils

We finished our visit to Wales with a trip into Cardiff with our lovely hosts to watch the Cardiff Devils take on the Fife Flyers in a game of Ice Hockey :-D

It was a fast, furious & aggressive game where it was difficult to always keep track of the puck!

We didn’t understand any of the rules of the game, but were thoroughly entertained by the crashes & bashes against the rink walls and seeing 1 of the 5 outfield players being sent to the sin bin by one of the four referees to serve out a 2 minute penalty (1 was for abuse of the referee!)

Thankfully the Devils scored their 3 goals in the final 3rd of the match and I left practically hoarse from all the cheering :-)
