Colours of Summer

I have had such a busy day, quite tired now.  My gardening lady came this morning, and while she was weeding the garden, I was getting rid of the wild broom that is growing on the bank.  I took 3 bags of weeds to the greenwaste, only $3 today.  After lunch I went for a walk by the Cardrona River, thought the Californian Poppies were looking great.  That's Mt Maude in the distance.

I will have a cuppa, then head to the lake to get some driftwood.
