Down in the forest ...........

Walking around our local pond - Sheepwash Pond, because it was where the sheep were dipped having been herded up here to their summer pastures - I espied this little fellow behind a tree.

Has he been told Halloween is over?
has his watch stopped?
Did he miss out on all the action?

All he has to look forward to is Winter.  That will wipe the smile off his face!
