Lani and Pua

Think I have blipped this truck and its pooches a few years ago.   Counted four various heads popping up - all patiently waiting for the owner to return.   He has carefully put up sunshades and has dog-friendly restraining straps - and all the dogs have sunshades.

Unsettled weather brought thunder, lightning, hail in Waikele (middle of Oahu), snow on the summit of Mauna Kea (the Big Island), and heavy rains that continued into the morning.   Thunder rumbled deep enough to shake the house (at least once) and loud claps of thunder woke us this morning.   Last nite went to bed to thunder rolls and lightning lighting up the sky.   Very bright.  Warning of frequent cloud-to-ground lightning - which must have continued thru the nite.   Rain cleared later in the morning, but still was sporadic.    Waiting for the low pressure system north of Kauai to clear and tradewinds to fill back in.   Weather still unstable.
