Frosty foxglove

A lovely clear and calm frosty morning.  A thorough clean out of the hen house, so much easier to do when it's not blowing a gale or pouring down with rain!  I'd done a lot of paper shredding so used it to refill the nest boxes.

The little strips of shredded paper stick occasionally stick to the eggs and I always look to see if they have anything written on them.  The other day a piece said "I'm not myself", today there was one saying "recycle in plastics"! Tiny shreds of bumf - little messages from the hens, perhaps I should make them into a poem . . .  time for more medication!
