In a snail shell

I uncovered these when I trimmed back the oregano in the herb garden today. Seems they are all empty. I'm not sure if the snails died or moved into bigger shells. I'm just glad they are no longer in my garden feasting on my plants. If I get a chance to work in the garden tomorrow it will be all done and ready for the cold winter ahead.
