Another scintillating day in this breathtaking kaleidoscope that is life. I see that 'dreich' came out top in a poll of favourite Scottish words and 'scunnered' was third. They very accurately describe the weather and my consequent mood today. Highlight was going to look at new carpets for our hall and stairs. Sidney reflects my excitement at it all.
