The House in the Clouds

Believe it or not - this is a holiday home (note: not  'a cottage') :-)
It's in the fantasy village of Thorpeness, Nr. Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
It was originally a 70ft high water tower built to supply the village. It was disguised as a house so as not to be an eyesore.  When 'mains water' came the water tank became redundant - thus giving the owner an opportunity to further develop the house.
It has:
5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, 5 Floors and 67 stairs with 4 landings and 5 half landings with resting seats on each landing. An iron spiral staircase on the 5th floor goes to an upper gallery.
All this for a mere £3,000 per week - dependant on dates.
Wow - what a bargain.....:-)
