Me and My Lens

Good Old Days

Today was a crisp, cold sunny Sunday and the weather enticed me out of the house for a walk down by the Docks. The reflections on the water of the buildings were beautiful.

This building is called The Pillar Warehouse at Gloucester Docks and was built in 1838. The building was built by Samuel Baker and James Shipton and was used by Corn Merchants.

The upper floors project forward and are supported by pillars on the quay wall.

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday evening. xx
