Homeward Bounds

Mabel and Miss Pickles delighted to be bounding along the top of the Sugarloaf stop on our long journey home to Pembrokeshire from the Lakes.

Last night we were delivered in style at the Theatre on the Lake by boat. My niecelet Jennifer and her fellow cast members gave us an inventive, funny and emotional performance of their brilliant adaptation of The Railway Children. We met up with the cast and our ferry crew in the bar afterwards, then back to the boat in the starry night for coffee, whisky or Baileys on our nocturnal trip back across the lake.

On the road betimes this morning for a lunchtime stop with Mother and Sister in Shropshire then home via the Sugarloaf. A magical break....
