Her Name Up in Lights

This was what greeted us as we arrived at The Plaza Cinema yesterday evening....Kath's name going round and round for the town to see....it was such a surprise for her..and the guests.

We had a lovely time at the party but I was a bit disappointed by the Art Deco restoration. So I only have a couple of pics...some beautiful tile work and part of the original box office.

A long journey home by train but we met some lovely people to chat to: first a sign designer and gilder, and then an art and design teacher. Two really interesting people made the journey go quickly.
