Roman soldier?

It was Cafe Church today and, besides the singing and the talk we had a craft activity. Four groups were asked to make items of a Roman soldier's equipment out of card and paper and we had to work together to get it done. The reason was the armour was used in the Bible as an illustration of what God gives us to help us in teh Christian life.
At the end one member of the congregation volunteered to model it. My group made a dagger and sandals (too small for the model but it was suggested we make them for the smallest person there.
The service itself was about being bold in God's work and using the equipment he;s given us
Had a short run this afternoon in the drizzle, but it wasn't cold.
