Sitting Pretty

We saw two Kingfishers sitting on old Pilings ......notice that bigger birds are discouraged from landing on the posts with a pointed cone with a screw sticking out the top.....the Kingfisher had no trouble avoiding the point. See extra for where he was in the river.

Now we are back home.....very surprising that there was no fog at the beach but it was very foggy when we got back to the valley. Made us want to still be back at the beach. But now we are home sitting by the fire watching the 49ers Football Game.....so far they are looking good.
