I met up with a professional photographer friend from the old country, Lee Fawkes. He wanted to practice landscapes which are a little outside his usual envelope.

On the way, we pulled over to look at a view we see all the time.
Everybody here has seen it. The lighting sucked compared to ALL the other times we have seen it.

Yes, at sunset: seen it, at sunrise: seen it, at night: seen it, foggy:seen it, fireworks going off:seen it! blah,blah,blah.

Then I realized I have never actually taken pictures of this scene in 30 years. Doh!

Well, there is something embarrassing about making a tourist shot, so I looked for an edge.
