Autumn

We have been in a bit of a time machine, leaving the Hebrides in winter to arrive in the Ardeche in autumn. Mild but grey, the walk to the village in search of a beer was promising but ultimately disappointing as the bar was shut for their annual holiday.
A day pottering about, drying a few things and generally working out what needs doing. Plenty is always the answer but at least we have got the temperature up to the balmy heights of 20 C near the fire.
