Rock Solid

As it's the son and grandson's birthdays over the next couple of days, we dropped off cards and presents at their house in Frome, Somerset, and then visited my uncle and aunty in Rode, nearby.

My uncle John is my mums brother, 87, almost blind with mobility problems. Aunt Terri is 17 years younger and has Parkinsons. It was good to spend a good few hours with them chatting and enjoying some good food she'd cooked up.

This weeks Wide Wednesday Challenge is on the theme of solid. I didn't really get the opportunity for a more normal interpretation on the theme, but my photo' shows them together after 50 years - that's what I call a Rock Solid relationship.
