William, 11th Duke of Hamilton

William died in Paris in 1863 at the age of 52. His body was brought back and was buried in Hamilton Mausoleum

The bronze bust and duke’s monument was paid for by public subscription and located at High Parks

The bust is now located at Hamilton Low Parks Museum
