Lookin' up . . . !

A strong onshore wind (from the southeast) at Sandy Beach - and waves like a washing machine!    They came rolling in on an ebbing tide and frolicked all the way to shore.   Spotted some froth rolling along the beach and, in some cases, the waves were coated with a white foamy layer and very indecisive (direction-wise).   Brilliant sun, blue sky, low 80s temp.   Lots of salt spray in the air.   A wonderous iwa bird (the Great Frigatebird) magically appeared just above me (extra).   This seems to be a female distinguished by white breast and throat.    She made one pass and then I lost slight of her.   Very thrilling with the tumultuous ocean background.

An energizing day to be at the beach.   I needed it.
