Yet another dark, wet day, and misty too. Just time when the rain stopped for a while to capture the lichen that's appeared along the entire length of the rusty old metal stanchion post that's lying flat in the 'yard. The post was there when we moved in, and is far too heavy to contemplate getting it out, but no matter. Makes it much easier for me to reach our retractable washing line if I balance on it!
