In the Fanzone

A beautiful day in Abu Dhabi, not a cloud in the sky. We headed for the circuit after breakfast and the pit lane walkabout. We enjoyed seeing the final bits of assembly of the cars in the garages from behind the barriers. Then, after a couple of phone calls a very special opportunity. Through a friend, we were taken inside the Red Bull garage for a quick look around. It was amazing to see up close all the elements of the operation. Being inches away from the cars that will race this weekend was a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans like us. Many, many thanks (you know who you are).

We spent the rest of the day soaking up the atmosphere, walking on part of the circuit and then joining the absolute craziness of the driver signing session (see the extras).
