Graduation

This afternoon I was in the academic procession for the Maths, Chemistry and Engineering graduation ceremony. Afterwards there was a reception for the Maths graduates, which gave the last chance to see many of last year's Masters class. Not all of them go to the reception, which was particularly disappointing in the case of one student I supervised this summer. In the evening I ate at a restaurant with my own three PhD students and one more for whom I'm second supervisor, giving him the chance to meet the other three.
