Bin There Done That.

Change of plans for us today , we were due to go to Media City in Salford for a live radio broadcast by the BBC Philharmonic playing Mozart and Martinu.
Mr P not feeling his best so we decided not to go.
Made two tray-bakes: coffee and walnut / cherry and almond, as he likes my baking and l thought they might cheer him up.
Then, as it has been the first dry day since l bought the Nordic Pine,  l repotted it as l had suspected  that it was pot bound in the tiny container it had come in. A messy job but l was correct - the roots were in a tight ball.
Went to Ilkley and bought some lazy meals from M&S reasoning that we would have been eating out in Manchester.

Took this photograph as l went back to the car.
I rather liked the light at the end of the tunnel.

Just going to watch The Irishman on Netflix, seen it lasts three and a half hours so we may have a break in the middle.

I know l praise the NHS every time l mention it but here l go again:
On Tuesday the specialised practice nurse rang Mr P, for a pre booked appointment.
On Wednesday Mr P saw the nurse at our GP surgery for his blood tests.
On speaking to her she said she would get him to see a doctor and he saw one with no waiting.
The doctor prescribed him some antibiotics which were waiting for him by the time he walked from the surgery to the chemist.
On Thursday, more blood tests at the local hospital ( this is very common for him to do) Also a chest X-ray.
Today the consultant who is in charge of his immunotherapy telephoned him to say the X-ray is clear and that hopefully his next treatment can go ahead on Monday.
Please fight to save our NHS.
