The Curator's House

Time for a catch-up with an old friend - at the Curator's House, originally built in 1920 for the curator of the Botanical Gardens in central Christchurch. The flowers are truly this bright!

Now a restaurant, the house has been repaired and strengthened after quake damage, and is pleasantly located right by the meandering Avon River. There's a great view of The Gardens from under the umbrellas.
