Rainforest

This shot was taken on our way home from Toowoomba on Sunday in searing hot conditions. We took the inland road through Warwick, Stanthorpe and Glen Innes to avoid the chaos of holiday traffic on the Pacific Highway. This was taken on the Gibraltor Range section getting closer to home and it was a bit cooler through the mountains. Took about an hour longer than usual but there was hardly any traffic so it was well worth it. We left Toowoomba about 1pm, stopped for lunch at Warwick, made a few blip stops and then arrived home about 7.45pm. Another big day but good to get home safe and sound. Different day today (Monday) - started off quite cool and got cooler as the day progressed and is now raining - bliss after the heatwave of the last week or so. I hope it's raining in the bushfire areas as well but I guess that would be too good to be true. I'll try and catch up with everyone soon.
